Domaine Bernard Boisson-Vadot 26 Rue de la Mairie,18300 Thauvenay, France

The Boisson family have long been content to sell to a mailing list of private customers in France. The domaine holds 8.5 hectare in Meursault along with smaller holdings in Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Pommard, and Beaune. The estates are divided into three entities: the parents(3.5Ha), the son(Pierre Boisson 3.5Ha), and the daughter(Anne Boison 1.5Ha). Although not certified organic, the grape growers never use any fertilizers or pesticides. The harvest is done by hand, aged in oak barrels between 15 and 18 months. New oak is used very sparingly based on the vintage, and bottled without any filtering. Chevalieres is the most mineral-driven, with a more restraint fruit flavors in its youth, but great aging potential- more like premier cru than village wines. 2017 was the last vintage produced under Bernard Boisson-Vadot label.
