The 2017 vintage will be a year to remember for the hot weather with little rain. The harvest was very early for the Arneis and Dolcetto grapes compared to normal harvests, but not so much for the Barbera and Nebbiolo. However, surprisingly, the wines produced do not show any notes of over ripeness commonly found in a hot year. The merit of all of this is to be attributed to the strong temperature change with cool summer nights contrasted by hot, torrid days. The Barbaresco is fruity with slightly coarse tannins.
2017년 여름은 강우량이 적고 몹시 더웠던 기후에서 포도가 자랐습니다. 일부 품종은 빨리 익은 포도 때문에 수확시기를 앞당겼지만 네비올로 품종은 예년과 비슷한 시기에 수확이 이뤄졌습니다. 더운 여름에도 불구하고 와인은 걱정했던 봐와 달리 과숙미는 찾아볼 수 없으며 오히려 바르바레스코는 산뜻한 과일향과 굵직한 타닌이 잘 어우러져 복합미를 만들어냅니다. 아마도 지역특성인 온도차와 해질녘 찾아오는 시원한 바람의 도움이 컸던 것 같습니다.
